Universitas Padjadjaran has organized a Roadshow of Intellectual Property Rights and Scientific Publications Unit Selection at the 2nd floor of UNPAD RSHS Teaching Hospital Auditorium Hall on Wednesday 13 June 2012. The event has been attended by Vice Dean II of the Faculty Gaga Irawan Nugraha, dr, SpGK, MGizi, Head of Scientific Unit and Intellectual Property Rights of the Faculty of Medicine UNPAD Tono Djuwantono, dr, SpOG and Secretary of UNPAD Intellectual Property Rights Mrs Laina
Some speakers presented their explanations related with Intellectual Property Rights such as Prof Dr M Nurhalim Shahib, dr – Head of Basic Medical Science Magister Stuy Program who explained the global strategy in the achievement of intellectual property rights patent in medical science of the university which also included how to reach human resources behavior who have the achievement tradition, innovative, qualified creations, focused and always be opened for any information, having the sense to take advantages of any opportunities (Indonesian economists, Asian economists, European economists) and able to fulfill the local products
The benefit of Intellectual Property Rights at a university is research which is an intellectual investment, condition that giving knowledge is more important than giving the money, endorsing entrepreneurship, intellectual competitiveness, Intellectual Property Rights will also increase the university performance, makes the university will be able to create knowledge based society to build economic based society and intellectual property rights will be a business asset which will be able to help the university becomes independent for its financial matters
