Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Padjadjaran: Open House for UNPAD New students of the Regular National Entrance Test (SNMPTN)

Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Padjadjaran Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Padjadjaran Open House for UNPAD New students of the Regular National Entrance Test (SNMPTN) 7 Jul 2011, 4:52 am Welcome to Universitas Padjadjaran Campus, The Rector of Universitas Padjadjaran Prof Dr Ir Ganjar Kurnia DEA was greeted the students parents who accepted in UNPAD through SNMPTN (Regular National Entrance Test/SNMPTN) for the academic year of 2011/2012 on Tuesday 5 July 2011 at each faculty of the university. The Faculty of Medicine UNPAD welcomed the parents at the theatre room of the A5.3 Building of the Faculty, Jatinangor Campus. The Rector through a streaming teleconference then suggested the parents to donate for Sauyunan Scholarship of UNPAD The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine UNPAD Prof Dr med Tri Hanggono Achmad, dr  thanked the parents for their trust to the faculty for their children education. The Dean was also explained that there are some   intakes to get a seat at UNPAD such as: SNMPTN which has been participated by 3000 applicants and there were only 156 participants who successfully past the selection, BIDIK MISI which provide 25 seats and the seats was successfully fulfilled by 22 applicants, the university invitation program which provided  17 seats for this year but there were only 19 applicants who successfully fulfilled those seats due to the 10% of the quota and SMUP (Universitas Padjadjaran entrance test) which has 33 seats will announce its selection result on 18 July 2011, totally SMUP will accept 300 – 330 applicants consisted of Indonesian and international students The open house was held for 90 minutes, after that all parents were invited to have a visit to the tutorial rooms of the faculty, skills labs, students centre and Bale Padjadjaran dormitory which is located in the campus area. The visit was guided by 10 students as Liaison Officers. The new students of the faculty should stay at the dormitory during their first year (2 semesters).
